Scope and Contents: This collection documents the career of Josephine Mackey, educator, from 1940 to 1975, donated by Josephine Mackey in 1980. Mackey was the first principal at Nathan Young Elementary School in Opa-Locka, where she worked 12 years. The collection consists of certificates, photos, programs, memorandums, letters, and newspaper articles.
