Scope and Contents: This collection spans twenty years and documents politician Arthur E. Teele Jr's political career and the scandal that ended in his suicide. This collection was created by staff of The Black Archives. It consists of newspaper clippings, flyers, postcards, pamphlets, a map, a poem, a biography and a DVD (The Arthur E. Teele Story). Noteworthy people present in this collection include: President and Mrs. Clinton, Athalie Range, Jim Defede, Miami Commissioner Joe Sanchez, Mayor Manny Diaz, community activist Betty Ferguson and associate state director Brenda Marshall.
