Name: Wright family

Historical Note: Phillip Wright was raised in Miami Florida and graduated from Miami Northwestern Senior High School 1953. He went on to be a guitar player for the bands Afro Beats and Down Beats. He was the owner of Wright-One Income Tax Preparation and Notary Public Services (1978- 1999). Betty Wright, known for her hit song "No pain, No gain" was the first African American female from Miami Florida to have a certified  Gold Record. Jeanette Wright was part of KC and the Sunshine Band and sang with Gloria Estefan, Regina Bell, and Enrique Inglesias.  Information on other members of the family can be found in the Wright family paper.
