Scope and Contents: These papers document Alcee Hastings, Florida’s first African American Federal Judge. The collection consists of profiles, correspondence, general newspaper articles and newspaper articles dating from 1982 to 2001 that cover a court case filed against Hastings which spanned nearly a decade.  See "Other URL" for more information.
