Scope and Contents: This one folder collection consists of the papers of Radie S. Jackson, entrepreneur, from 1914 to 1999, donated by Radie S. Jackson in 1998. His grand-daughter, Calandra F. Ervin, donated a biography of Jackson in 1997. The collection provides evidence of the many businesses Jackson started and offers insight into his personality through correspondence and photographs. The collection includes biographical information, correspondence, photographs, business information, receipts, deeds, menus, flyers, a program, and a building blueprint. The collection does not contain extensive documentation from each of his businesses, although it does include some financial information.
