Scope and Contents: This one-folder, themed collection contains information on Verneka Silva, educator, collected by staff of The Black Archives. It documents Ms. Silva's retirement from the Dade County School System and consists of biographical information, a retirement program, a newspaper clipping and copies of photographs.
