This collection details the lives of Mercelee Adderly, Lancelot Jones and Sarah Woods.These individuals shared a familial connection. Inside details multiple awards given to Adderly and Woods, and much of Jones's enviromental contributions to what is now Biscanye National Park. Further there is detail on Porgy Key and its historical significance from 1897-1992.

Finding Aid Revision History:

This collection was previously started but was incomplete. Original Archivist, processor and date unknown. The collection then began new processing on 9/11/18 and finished on 9/14/18. Stored in 1.00 Cubic Linear foot of Archival boxes. The collection has been organized down to item level to ensure visibilty of all items inside.

This collection was kept together to preserve the family's story and make sure the full scope of the story is available for all to see, instead of separating as the prior processor decided.
