Processing Information: The records in this collection were located in the Black Archives processing room. After a preliminary survey was conducted, it was discovered that the records were in categorical and chronological order however, they were kept in large binder folders, bags, non-acid free folders and other holding materials. To process the collection the information was placed into categories. Staples, paperclips and rubber bands were removed and then the records were transferred into acid-free file folders. After being appropriately labeled, the folders were organized in alphabetical order and placed in an acid-free Hollinger box. A content listing was made, and the appropriate labels were attached, and the boxes were stored in the collection room. This collection was processed at the file folder level.
