Military Service :
1941-Drafted for military service.
1942- Selected for officer training school in Miami Beach , Florida. Williams was the only black in the unit.
1942-1946: Director of Physical Fitness, Survival Training, and Parachute Landing Training for the Tuskegee Airmen Cadets, 332nd fighter squadron.
1949-Recalled for military service during Berlin Air Lift crisis. Rejoined the 332nd composite wing.
1963- Retired after 23 years of service with the rank of Liteutenant Colonel.
Public Service
1964- Started working for Miami-Dade Public Schools as a teacher.
1966- Coordinator of Federal Programs
1968- Director of Adminstrative Staffing
1971- Director of Equal Educational Opportunity
1978- Exceutive Director of Personnel
1985- Retired fro Miami Dade Public Schools
